Hi there and thanks so much for visiting Harmony Training!. My name is Renee and I absolutely love what I do. I have been riding since I was five years old and started training at the age of thirteen. I have always had horses and my passion has never faded.
I began riding English through a professional riding school in the Bay Area and then took off on my own. I have done all disciplines with a main passion for training (starting horses under saddle). I previously had my own horse rescue where I focused on rebuilding trust and a solid foundation with abused horses before placing them in forever homes. I do believe that horses teach us and it is amazing. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing progress unravel through your work and to touch a horse and rider.
Through my training I focus on confidence building between horse and rider, safety, trust and creating a strong bond through understanding the way horses communicate with us. I have been a riding instructor for years and have a passion for teaching both adults and youth to ride. One of my most favorite jobs was working for Girl Scouts of Northern California as a riding instructor. Those girls have touched my heart forever, my students truly make everything I do worth it.
